And we’re closed again! The Lac du Bonnet Karate Club will resume classes when public health determines that it is safe to do so. Our fall, 2020 brochure is available below to give you an idea of program offerings and cost when we do get the green light to resume.
Note that the days for karate have changed – we’ll be holding classes Tuesday and Thursday evenings this year. We are unable to offer Tiny Tigers classes at this point but will certainly revisit this class as provincial sport directives are updated.
We are a member dojo of the World Traditional Karate Organization (WTKO)! We are proud and excited to be part of this organization!
Who We Are
The Lac du Bonnet Karate Club offers regular karate classes three days per week. Tiny Tigers classes, for children aged five to seven, run once per week.
Students at our club have the opportunity to participate in numerous events throughout the year. We have a thriving tournament team that competes in a variety of tournaments. We also have students who have participated in Karate Manitoba’s elite Team Training program and have sent athletes to compete in Karate Canada’s national tournament. We provide opportunities to participate in seminars run by guest instructors, and have had students attend seminars by instructors such as 6th dan Sensei Middleton, 8th dan Sensei Mullin, 8th dan Sensei Ubl, 8th dan Sensei Marr, 8th dan Sensei Smaby, and 9th dan Sensei Yaguchi.
Whether you’re interested in karate for fitness, self confidence, fun, or competition, the Lac du Bonnet Karate Club wants you!
